PMR-30 - Do You Own The Latest Iteration?

Apparently, they've been around since 2011, with follow up refinements and tweaks, but I would like to know if this particular pistol is now reliable?

30 + 1 rounds of .22 Magnum in one pistol is impressive if this semi-auto is reliable.

However, it's a Kel-tec and they're not a first tier firearm if you will... So, I'm being cautious about getting one. They are also quite light even fully loaded. A really big plus for me.

If you own one, what's your take?

Reliable, decent trigger, accurate?

My friend has one and likes it. I have handled but not shot it. I have been thinking of getting one for my Mom as she is 87 and says the 586 of mine ( which she chose) has become too heavy for her. They have become more easy to obtain,especially if you are not picky about the color.

The carbine version CMR-30 is on my wish list. They disappear fast on seller sites and dealers and when they are available I always seem to be light on funds from buying something else. c'est la vie Like any .22, at least for my experience, they are fun to shoot, especially in a sem-auto and one tends to shoot a lot of ammo. 22WMR is not outrageously costly, but it ain't .22LR.

Shoot Point Blank on Iron Horse Blvd and 820 in North Richland Hills has had a CMR30 and several PMR30s on the shelf every time I’ve been in there. When I asked if they sell a lot of them, and if they have trouble getting them back on the shelves, and they said that they sell the pistols pretty regularly, and occasionally sell the carbine, and that they have no trouble replacing them.

I picked up one last year and have three mags for it. I’ve never had a problem with it and it’s a really fun pistol to shoot and it’s one of my favorite guns. Im waiting to see a CMR30 in stock so I can pick one of those up.

I have a notification for Grabagun when the CMR comes available and before I can get to my email thay are sold out. I just checked and they have two, but of course now I don't have the funds. Still paying off a 1977 S&W Model 27 I bought the first of the year. My LGS hasn't had one in a long time. I don't think he's giving me a line, but it could be the his cost wouldn't allow for much profit. I don't think the PMR's were in short supply as he seem to always have at least on on display.

I don’t have a holster but I have carried it hunting as a backup. It’s so light I had it strapped to my backpack

The carbine weighs only 3.8 lbs. The pistol weighs 14.0 oz.

I've had one for about a year. It is my ranch gun.
It has delivered the coup-de-gras on several deer and varmints and dispatched one feral cat.
I tried several different brands and types of 22mag - it fed and fired them all.
I really like it. Mine is FDE with fiber optic sights. It is quick on target and, even with a full load out, very light and comfortable to carry.
I carry it in an M12 style holster. The holster comes with a plastic cleaning rod that I replaced with a brass 22 rod with a loop.
If I have a jam, I can pound out the stuck round.

I have owned other Kel-Tec firearms that I sold after using for a bit.
I'm keeping this one.
