My first story that just happened!

Thanks for the responses. I was actually telling my dog she was fired last night. This is not the first time that she didn't hear someone at the front door. Just last friday I was sitting in here in the bedroom door slightly closed and the front door open but the screen closed. So it was obvious that I was home but someone was not smart enough to figure that out. While watching tv I hear the screen door close and I think "No one is supposed to be coming in this house right now." So I start to reach for my pistol when I decide to make sure its not my girlfriend's mom. When I peek out of the bedroom I don't see anyone so I brush it off to the wind hitting the screen door. Well shortly after I am leaving to go shooting at Bass Pro when I notice a piece of paper laying on the floor. Well it turns out that the noise I heard was the screen door closing because whoever the water company had putting out these notices decided to just open my door and put it inside instead of knocking . I was so mad and called the water company and made a complaint demanding that they have a serious talk with the people putting out the notices.

Good way to get robbed,I never leave my door open and it's locked,there have been several home invasions where the BG's just walked in unnanounced and that gun won't do you much good if they get the drop on you

Normally the door is always shut and locked but i had just let my dog in and she wanted to lay next to it to see out. Now after that the door is always shut and locked unless we are going in or out.
