I had a guy who was irritated at me for parking in the street in front of his house. He started throwing nails under my tires. Well, after 2 flats, and my sister's double blowout, we finally got the guy on tape throwing nails under my truck. Police took it into custody, and worked up the charges.

Why would you rely on police and criminal charges? He committed a tort against you, and you should have sued him civilly. Probably small claims court, at that level.

If the police and DA had done every thing correct and slam-dunked the guy on criminal charges, you would have gotten nothing out of it. You'd still be out the tires. This is the problem with calling for criminal charges (where "the state" is the "victim"). The actual victim receives no compensation in a criminal case; fines go to the state.

Jesus might be his friend, but it was the devil that told him to break into your truck

Yep, you could have won a judgement against him and got his shopping
cart full of all the goodies he scored while dumpster diving...Yeah!

I have an 03 silverado extended cab that gets a new scratch everytime the wind blows.... ugh...

I swear I don't know what to do anymore. Its so depressing.

:iagree: ...on the dark red, Chevy Silverado Ex Cab... mine is a magnet for scratches. I have gotten to where I just don't even look any more because it just makes me mad. This is the prettiest little red truck I have ever had. And it seems like everyone is out to destroy it. :mad5
