According to police reports, a 16-year-old boy shot his father twice in the head, then shot himself when police arrived. Neither is expected to survive. The boy's mother witnessed the event, which took place Sunday in an unincorporated area near Kemah.

This is NOT what the gun community needs...urggh!

Murder-suicides are becoming more common these days. There have been several here in the DFW area over the last few months. However, this one is the first I have heard of where a minor committed the act.

Sad situation in deed.

This is a very tragic story. My prayers go out to the family.

Both Bob Mueller and his son, Bobby Jr. died yesterday afternoon.
