A young fellow in our church told me he wanted to get his CHL & what did I think about it? Yall know where that Q led. Short story is I gave him some reading material & then on the 4th we spent a long 1/2 day together. I let him see & wear several different holsters. Showed him how to access, we went to Academy to handle some I do not have, then to the range. While in the house & looking at different pistols, all unloaded & checked & rechecked every time picking up a new one. When we left for town I reminded him he needed to remove his. Yes he was thinking of that. Well about half way to town I think in my head, LT, I don't remember you reloading. Don't like the feel of a full holster & an empty mag well. :banghead: OK pull one of the WC that I carry extra & insert, then charge the pipe. Yep Flint you were right. One mag is no mags (if you leave it at home) Two spares is only a load & one reload. Shame for the teacher to have egg on his face.

Don't feel bad. At least you didn't go out with a blue training gun in your holster.
I am scared of empty guns and keep mine loaded at all times. The family knows the guns are loaded and treats them with respect. Loaded guns cause few accidents; empty guns kill people every year. -Elmer Keith. 1961
