Stupid and tragic. Lots of people in those comments asking "who carries a gun at a child's birthday party?". To me, the question is, "who leaves a loaded gun in a jacket pocket with little kids around?"

Hmmm, sounds like making a readily dischargeable firearm accessible to a child with resulting injury or death. Hope charges are filed and punishment will not be nearly enough. That said, the story is a bit fishy. What were the OTHER circumstances in this incident?
