Okay i'm breaking down after reloading on a lee pro 1000 for the last 2 or 3 years i'm gonna but a dillon 650 tomorrow,I have decided that #1 relading saves money #2the more i can reload the more i can shoot #3 I can let my wife use the lee so she can see why we needed the dillon

I bought my G/F a Springer Champion 45acp so she would see why she really needs a 9mm (recoil) and in turn I would get the Springer and she would get another gun.

After talking to Brian Enos about my reoading needs he steered me to the Dillon 550 due to the fact i load multiple calibres and the 550 is easier to change over.so for just under $750.00 I should recoup my losses in a few months over what factory handgun or even milsurp.223 runs

You will enjoy the 550. I have one and have never regretted the purchase.

I started out on a 550 and bought a 650 to reload .45. I now use the 550 for .223 and really like it for that. The 650 is great for pistol cause I don't have to do as much and it really cranks them out. However, sometimes I like the control that the 550 gives me when I need to back up or double check something. The 550 is simple and that helps when learning to do something more complex like bottle neck cartridges.

I have used my Dillon 550 twice so far,My right hand has partial paralysis and my fingers do not extend out all the way,But i find as i pick up a bullet and spin the shellplate my right hand picks up and sets a case in shellplate,as i set bullet on case i pull handle and repeat,this thing runs like a dream.I like the positive primer feed with warning system,and i can crank out bullets faster than my lee pro 1000 progressive.You can load 1 shell at a time like a single stage and reverse the shellplate as easy as advancing it,if you need to inspect a case you pull locator button and slide out case.The one thing that could speed up my reloading would be a casefeeder since my right hand struggles feeding them sometimes.I already had lee reloading dies,and for the setup to load 9mm,45 acp,.223,40 s&w it came to a little over 760.00 with the brian enos as it should be upgrade.

Where is the best place to buy a Dillon 650 or 550? Ebay? Any place in Houston carry them?
