Does anyone have any experience or load data for reloading Speer 38/357 shot capsules?
http://www.speer-bullets.com/products/accessories.aspx" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I got some data directly from Speer, but its a limited powder selection.

I've loaded several. All there is for data is the stuff from Speer. I would have used Bullseye. I don't have my info in front of me but can look tonight if you think it would help.

I loaded some of the Speer shot capsules quite a few years back . . . they worked about as expected, and IIRC I used Speer's data for Bullseye powder.

I think you pretty much have to use a fast-burning powder since without metal being engraved by the rifling, the powder gasses don't meet enough resistance to expansion for a slow powder to burn efficiently.

yes, I was hoping someone had some data for other fast powers like power pistol, or something else that I already had.

I have loaded some .38 Spl shotshells. Used 4.5 grains of Unique, then a wad tight over the powder, then approximately 93 grains of #9 shot (filled to just under the top of the case), then another sealed wad. This has worked quite well for my son and I except we have to load just one snakeshot round in the pistol or the recoil will loosen the shot in the next round. We have shot a number of snakes with them.

I have also tried one with the same powder, and a little less shot with a 000 buckshot on the outer end. It worked OK but I decided that more shot was preferred.

My Speer book lists for the 38/357 capsules:

630 - 9.0
Unique - 5.5
231 - 5.0
Bullseye - 4.5
700x - 4.5
HP38 - 4.5

That's all the loads for them I have. Sorry.
