Right now I'm doing a lot of research on reloading. I'm not ready to purchase the equipment, but if I begin policing my brass at the range, I should have a good supply.
A good idea?

Absolutely! Pick up others too if you can!
I have thought about reloading, but I don't shoot enough to make it worthwhile.

You better keep your hands off my brass
.
I'm in about the same boat as you v-rog except I got a nice single stage from my dad that he didn't use, I just got to figure out how it all works

Stay away from my brass too!
JK, reloading is actually a lot of fun. I pick up brass everywhere I can. I would have loved to scrounge up all the brass at the DPS range when we qualified... About 8000 rounds fired that morning!

I don't reload yet either but I've been trying to collect my brass as I can. If nothing else, you can sell them for a few bucks to a reloader.

Well, I picked-up my first batch of shells today after shooting. I shot around 150 rounds of 9mm, 50 rounds of .357 magnum, and 12 rounds of 12 ga shotgun shells. After picking-up my brass, I managed to get an extra 75 cases of abandoned 9mm shells...Oh, and two shell cases of .45 auto
