Wholesalers are low on re-loading supplies

I placed an order with a wholesaler for more re-loading supplies and half the items I wanted are on back order. They had no brass for 223 or 308 available and no rifle or pistol primers. I did end up with 8 pound kegs of rifle and pistol powder and all the bullets that I needed. Was wondering if people are seeing the same shortage where they purchase their items.

Yep, I had the same experience. I ended up buying some (overpriced) CCI Benchrest small rifle primers because that was all my supplier had left in small rifle. Now they're out of those too.

It's crazy. People are panic buying everything.
I was looking for .308 reloading items also.
All gone.

I won't feel so self-conscious about taking my brass-catcher-net-thingy with me to the outdoor range next time. This past weekend I lost about a third of my 223 brass to overzealous scroungers...er...fellow members while I was shooting. I think a sense of 'brass famine' has set in among some folks.

Can't find nearly any .308 bullets or powders sutable for 30-06. Time to ration the 3.5lbs I have left.

Guy's Powder Valley has a fairly good selection of powders available at this time, as well as primers for 30-06 or 308 Winchester. Bullets as well. I just put in an order to round out my supply, it will be a couple to three weeks befor it ships. I got some AA 2230 which works well in 223 and 308 sized cases as well as some IMR 7828 which is great for the belted magnums, plus 5000 CCI LRM primers and 5000 Tula SRM primers.

They have always been a top notch company for me.
