I just got a shipping conformation from Midway that my RCBS bench primer tool was sent today..!!!
It's been on backorder since about a month ago with a current due in stock date of 6-22?????
They must have got a few in early?
Now my poor little hands wont be hurting after 100's of of primmed brass..!!
Guess I should go to a doctor, but they will just charge me $150 and say they can't do anything or say I need $1000,00's of dollars in surgery..!!
Now I need to get one of the new Vibra-prime's to load the tubes.
Anyone bought the new one that Frankford Arsenal just started making? They are suppose to be better than the old ones they use to make?
Another forum I'm on say its great, if you can find one in stock.
Have fun
Don

I hadn't seen that tool until you mentioned it. Looks like a long lever arm will make seating quite easy.

if your priming a lot of cases without a progressive it looks like the way to go.

I still prefer my hand priming tool. Good workout to keep that carpel tunnel and arthritis away!

I've used a friends and I really like it.
Yep..My right hand has a problem with a flexor tendon which makes it hard to make a tight fist needed for seating properly. I have a couple of the hand primers, and press type..But this bench tool is GREAT.
Easy feel while seating primers. You can feel when they bottom out easily.
Not that big of a deal...Just thought I'd mention it.
PLUS..I dont watch TV any more so sitting in front of the boob tube priming brass wont work for me.
You can see it in action here -----> " onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Thinking of getting the NEW Frankford Arsenal Vibra Prime tool to load tubes too?????

Glad to hear they are shipping, now maybe a few more items will be more plentiful. But the law of unintended consequences says that you will now probably get tennis elbow!

Got the rcbs bench primer tool yesterday and tried it out.
I really like it, can feel the primer pressing in until it bumps the bottom of pocket.
I did do some touch up on some parts to make them move easier, plus some sizing wax on the pivot points. Now its slicker than ever.
There was not a problem the way it came, I just like to make things work easier.
Now I'm making an oak base to mount it to so I can clamp it to the bench when I want to use it.
OR, maybe some quick release bolts/wingnuts??????
I'll come up with something I like.
