Log me on automatically each visit
Log me on automatically each visit?
I see this box each time I log on......I also check it......but everytime I log on......I must re-enter my username and password.
Am I doing something wrong or is this functon not possible on this forum? If it is not possible........why is the box there?

Re: Log me on automatically each visit
Do you check it before or after you enter your username and password?
Works fine for me, both at work and at home. Only time I have to log in, now, is after I completely clear the browser cache, including all saved passwords.

Check whether you have cookies enabled or disabled. You must have cookies enabled for the automatic logon to work.
If you are using Internet Explorer, try putting http://www.texasshooting.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; in the trusted sites.
If you are using Internet Explorer, you might also consider using a Firefox or another browser. I have had no trouble with Firefox or Mozilla before that.

Re: Log me on automatically each visit
This is a long running problem that some people can fix and others (like me) can't. I wish I had an answer for you.

Re: Log me on automatically each visit
Bingo, that fixed it for me, I was using the http://www.texaschlforum.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; instead of the latter, it works fine with the other address.Russell wrote:I have no problems with it.
When using Firefox check that...:
Tools - Options - Privacy tab - Cookies section - Accept cookies from sites and Accept third party cookies are both checked. Also make sure under the "Exceptions" button that texasshooting.com is not in the exceptions area as blocked.
Edit: It also could be that you are going to http://www.texaschlforum.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; instead of http://www.texasshooting.com/TexasCHL_Forum" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;. Make sure that you are going to the latter address.
