Question Regarding PMs

I'm not sure if my PMs are actually being sent. I composed the PM then clicked on Submit. Is there something else I need to do? I have two that are just sitting in my Outbox (45 min. and counting). I've done everything I know to do to try to get them in the Sent box but have not been successful. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Edit: I may have found the answer to my so called "problem" after doing a search. Sent PMs stay in my Outbox until read! Not really a problem other than ignorance of this function. I'll keep an eye on it.
