Trouble Loading Windows Media Player

I'm trying(without success) to listen to the DPS Public Safety Committee meeting audio as per their website:

http://www.txdps.state.tx.us/calendar/index.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

When using Firefox (v.3.6), it loads forever and doesn't do anything.
When using IE(v.7.0.5730.11, with Service Pak 3 installed) it loads for 5 minutes then says "cannot display page".

I'm using Windows Media Player v.11 for XP which is my OS.

I've listened to the audio of the meeting before, but I've had this problem many times.

Is it my machine, or does the DPS website have something quirky about it? Anyone else have this problem?

No, the thought never entered my mind. Good suggestion! I'll try it. Thanks!
