Picture to large - how do I resize?

#1

Post by LTCTLB »

I'm attempting to post a picture to better explain a topic, but I get an image too large error. How do I get past this?

I'm using an iPhone 6s Plus if that makes a difference.

You will have to resize the avatar. Try this: http://www.shrinkpictures.com/create-avatar/

You will have to resize the avatar. Try this: http://www.shrinkpictures.com/create-avatar/
And the size limit is 80X80 and a maximum file size of 6144 kb for your avatar.

Saving a photo as a .JPG significantly reduces the size as well.

Oh well. I've tried the link below, which automatically converts to jpg. I set it to give me even as small as 25 pixels all to no avail (still too large). I guess my avatar will stay as is.

Exactly - non-existent as it shall remain until I somehow figure it out, but it's low on my list of to-dos.

I use tinypic, and it gives you different size options to shrink or enlarge it
