supporting docs all uploaded now for the wait...
It only took the oilfield slowing down to a crawl for me to be able to find enough time at home to finally take a class. Just submitted all supporting docs, so going to try and "forget" about it for a month or so...
21 Jan 2016... Class completed
12 Feb 2016... Confirmation email and fee paid
19 Feb 2016... Prints completed and All supporting docs uploaded
Now for the wait....

Thats not as easy as it sounds. Like the rest of of us you will begin to check the site daily for a change after the first week or so. It's no big deal I bet a big percentage of people do. Lord knows I did while in "The waiting room". Good luck to you and my you wait be short.

A month? Ha! I'm at 60 days of waiting today and when I called to follow up this morning they told me "2-3 more weeks"
Good luck
Good luck
Re: supporting docs all uploaded now for the wait...
lol, I'll be honest and post on here when I finally go to check on it. I just did some reading, Im guessing I should expect another confirmation email letting me know all my docs were received? Or is the one I got for paying my fee and applying the same email? I applied and paid 12 Feb and submitted docs today 19 Feb.
Re: supporting docs all uploaded now for the wait...
You should get another email in a couple of days saying that they received all of your documents and to wait 4-6 weeks before calling in

So, I have a similar timeline - class on January 30th, applied and fee paid that same day, uploaded my CHL 100 that day to the RSD website, and got my prints done today (2/19/2016). When I log into the DPS website to check the status of my application it looks like the image attached. Is that ok? Just want to make sure I have not messed anything up. I would assume they would show they have record of me paying?

A bunch of us have completed & had doc's confirmation in the middle of December & several of us just in the last few days have been told "you're are just beginning in the process". It's been right around the 60 days & just been entered for processing..

Awesome - time to sit back and relax and check out holters and the like. Thanks for the help.

Once you are notified everything has been received, find a calender and count out 60 business days. Holidays and weekends don't count. You'll see a little box pop up on your website login page that will allow you to change your address. When you see this box you are really close.
When you call on or about business day 50, as soon as the recorded message begins to speak, press 1. You may have to do this a couple times in rapid succession to get into a waiting Que.
If you and your paperwork are eligible, Texas is a shall issue and it will arrive. It's just kind of like the all day wait to go out on your first date. Time marches on.

When you say they said nothing, what did they say specifically? "60 days" "you're in processing"?? That would ease my pain a little knowing what they said within 2 days of each other. .

Re: supporting docs all uploaded now for the wait...
For what it's worth, I'll add my timeline here, since I called Thursday after reading lots of concern over the confirmation email that may or may not ever be sent.
Application electronically submitted (and giant barcode email reply received) on 12/22.
According to my phone call with RSD, they acknowledged receipt of my CHL-100 and other documents (I have history) on 12/26.
I never received a confirmation email for the CHL-100/other docs from RSD separately from the original application acknowledgement on txapps.texas.gov
Called them on 2/18 to make sure they received the 3 or so attachments I included with my CHL-100 submission, and the confirmed that they were all received (12/26). She said at the time they were processing license applications from 12/21, so my "all materials received" date of 12/26 wasn't far from getting started.
