I finally took a step in the right direction and took my Ltc Course!
Good afternoon everyone just a little time line I have going on so far
10/27- took class and shooting test
10/27- submitted online application
10/28- scheduled fingerprints
10/29- fingerprints taken and submitted
10/30- submitted all documents online
11/1 - website finally showed all green except fingerprints, background check and print pending completion of application review
11/2. - still showing same and I'm sure I've checked it 100 times already lol

10/28- scheduled fingerprints
10/29- fingerprints taken and submitted
10/30- submitted all documents online
11/1 - website finally showed all green except fingerprints, background check and print pending completion of application review
11/2. - still showing same and I'm sure I've checked it 100 times already lol

Congrats! The day you stop looking at it will be the day it all goes green, that's literally what happened to me.

I just came home from a 2-Day School Safety Instructor's class at the DPS Tactical Training Center (where they train all the LTC instructors), in Florence, TX. They mentioned the typical LTC wait time is less than two weeks. So if there are no complications, you should receive your LTC shortly.

Right around 2 week turnaround for those with no criminal history currently, per my students.

Been all of 3 days.....feels like 3 years.

Haha. Back when I got my first CHL, I waited 3-4 months to arrive. My son applied for his just after me and waited 5 months. I am amused when I read posts speaking of wait times these days.

Back when my wife and I got ours they took 3 1/2 months to come in but my youngest son just got his in 16 days
