It sounds like the best thing to do if you get someone else's CHL by mistake is to send it to them and don't bother getting DPS involved.

Just out of curiosity, are you still showing "Processing Application"?

Just today it switched to application complete. The mailman has come and gone. No plastic today.

The gal I spoke with said she was going to mail it out on Friday. As of today it still shows Processing Application. Maybe tomorrow for both of us eh?

If the opposite of pro is con does that mean the opposite of progress is congress? With the way mail moves from Austin to San Antonio if mine had indeed been put in the mail on Friday it would have arrived today. Possibly she meant that she was sending it to the mail room on Friday. The folks I have spoken with in the CHL office have blamed lots of things on the mail room folks.

I am looking for it to possibly be in the mail on Friday. If it should arrive any sooner than that I will be pleasantly surprised.

Though I would like to say the mailman put some plastic joy in my mail box it would be an act of prevarication. I have had a glimmer of hope in my heart the last couple of days that I might receive it but that glimmer fades as quickly as dreams of new found riches once the lotto balls are drawn. I am anticipating it tomorrow but as the email said "it may take from 7 to 10 working days for the license to arrive. The 10 day outside limit would put it as a week from this Friday.

Have patience grasshopper. When you can snatch the plastic from the box it will be time to carry.
