Don't get too impatient. It helps to check the DPS website for a status change atleast 23 times a day!!

I mailed mine on October 23rd and it still show "Packet Mailed..." on November 16th. I guess I'll wait until next week to call...

This is good news to me as well, they received my app on 14 Nov. But i didnt apply online so hopefully ill get my pin soon and the app is processing now.

The day finally has arrived!!!! My status turned from Processing Application to Application Completed - license issued or certificate active. Just 3-4 more days for good ole USPS to delivery the plastic, then the Wally Walk

congrats Larry, DPS received our packets on the same day, i just called them today and was informed that my plastic would go out on monday. my online status still says "processing" however. oh well, doesnt really matter now.

Received the plastic in the mail today. Wally walk scheduled for tomorrow. For those of you still awaiting your CHL to be processed, hang in there and check the TX DPS website at least 6 times a day
