as i recall...(this may be wrong). if you do not live at the adress shown on your CHL it is "not valid". also, if the adress on your CHL and DL are different; your CHL is "not valid".

i still carried. i even got pulled over and the LEO didnt say anything about the adresses being different. BUT that is a risk that i took, it doesnt mean that you wont get introuble if you do the same.

It's been two weeks since I filed the change of address on my DL and CHL (9/25). I got my DL a few days ago but still no CHL. I have both DL's with me and my CHL just in case. I also have the receipts I printed off the screen when I filed the change of address for both licenses. I was hoping mine would fall under the "just under 2 weeks" category.
