Made a mistake--Update

#1

Post by Deans »

When you make a mistake on CHL application how long does it add to your wait time? Took the class 11/21/09 sent packet off and a couple weeks later received a letter stating I had failed to put the address to a former job on the app. Got the address and recent certified mail and received the return request card the week of Christmas. Wife got her plastic today as we took the class together.

Its hard to say. DPS says that it officially restarts the clock , but most likely it will only pause the clock until they have everything they need to resume the application process .

Hope this makes sense . In my defense , its New Years Eve (11:18) and I've had a few glasses of wine.*hiccup*

Deans, :iagree: with USA1 in that it will not "restart" the clock from zero. But delay it a week maybe for verification or what ever. Or it could be a pure technicality with them waiting for the address to resume processing.

IMO, it's not something to be super concerned about. Just know that it added some delay to your processing. :tiphat:
