60th day and IT changed!!

Post by JRG »

Okay, on the 60 day IT changed!! The DPS site changed from "processing application" to the most wonderful message "Application approved certificate issued!"

I am so happy. Now I definitely need a holster. Hopefully the mail man will make a bee line to my house this week.

Congrats!! check http://www.shado.com for a holster. They have quality products at a good price. I bought an Atkins style OWB leather holster there for $35 and recieved it in 3 or 4 days.

Congrats, JRG.
Check http://www.shado.com for a holster.
You can also check my buds at Comp-Tac (http://www.comp-tac.com/), a good ol' Texas company located in Spring. More competitors used Comp-Tac holsters in the 2006 IDPA National Championships than any other holster (Blade-Tech was second). I really am partial to leather, but there's no doubt that I can get stuff (pistols, magazines) out of my Comp-Tac Kydex than I can my Wilson leather.

I'll second that. I carry a K frame revolver in one of their OWB Clamshell holsters, it's done good so far.

I carry a large frame auto and I love my holster. I carry using that holster 98% of the time.
