  Woooo wooo !!! The mail carrier just handed me a great Christmas gift, my CHL.

September 18 to December 15........from mailing to receipt.

Worth every minute of the wait.

This site is a great resource for information. My thanks to the founders.

Now I can walk around the block armed instead of just to the end of the driveway.

I had a permit in California for more than 20 years, and was an FFL for over 15 yrs. so I have quite an arsenal of handguns. I will probably start by rotating my Glock 26, Para Ordinance Carry 7/45, and my trusty old S&W mod 60 round butt J frame.

In my experience it really has to do with where you are going, and what you are wearing. If you are comfortable with the weapon and your abitlity to use it effectively, that is what is important.

Good luck,
