I do have an arrest in my reported history, which I assume is the cause of the delay as most people on here are reporting that the BG check is getting done in a matter of days. None whatsoever. I have one speeding ticket and nothing else. I've even had 2 federal background checks in the last 6 years due to my job too. One question: Should I at all be concerned that fingerprints are still under review? I do have a misdemeanor arrest from 2006 that ended in deferred adjudication and a dismissal, and I submitted certified copies of the court disposition paperwork with my application to expedite things. Could that be it?

Just like others here, I had absolutely no change or any acknowledgment that DPS received my docs until they were manufacturing my license. I was checking WAY TOO MANY TIMES per day. I even checked a couple of times before I got on the plane. (I know, sad.)
I am happy that its finally progressing to where I can see it. And, to those who are still waiting...Keep your head up; it's on it's way.
