April 21: Pin Recevied, Processing Application.

I'm getting closer. The big question now is how fast does Travis county turn around those background checks.

We seem to be in one of the counties that drags its feet. Everyone in recent memory from around here seems to have gotten a few days past 60 before they received their plastic. This when just about everyone else is is getting theirs in anywhere from less than 30 to about 40 days. I'm in Travis County, and like I said earlier, I'm already at 45. My poor, tortured soul!

53 days for me now. I have a feeling I'm going to be waiting until day 60.

Calendar. That's what counts, as far as the way the law was written. I'll be giving them a call on day 60 if status hasn't changed.

3 weeks, 21 days today. One more week until I reach 28 days, the earliest anyone has been approved. It will probably be another 5 weeks for me though. At least it's calendar days, not business days.
