Still waiting for DPS to finish my BG check...Don't know why it is taking 2 weeks..I have a clean record, and I have never been in trouble or arrested..I already own a pistol and that took 2 mintues for my BG check over the phone..silly DPS taking thier time on something simple...lol

Umm I literally sent them an email regarding my status at 1:31Pm and I got an response

"We are currently working on printing the license. Please allow 10-14 business days to receive your license by mail"

at 1:33PM...WOW!!! they responded 2 minutes after my email was sent... lol i think that is awesome.

That is really quick.. Does a person even have enough time to really look into that or did you just get a canned response you think?

ok MAJOR TIP---if you have any concerns with your CHL--dont call--EMAIL!! done much faster.

Good to hear x007x. Hopefully you'll have it soon. By the way, that is the same form letter, word for word that everyone receives. I think it was just the right timing that this happened so fast. Regardless youre finally at the finish line! Congrats.

Yay!!! Finally, got the plastic after 5 months.. I was just OMG yay!! was nervous at first about carrying, lol.
