Hey guys,
I sent the packet in yesterday and have a question. Nothing to worry about in my background checks, but I have moved three times (3 different counties) in the last 5 years and have worked in 3 different countries then i've lived. Out of all these moves, i am looking at 6 different counties in 3 different states, does this mean i will need a total of 6 different background checks? Do you guys see this being a delay in my process? Also, does anyone know how long DPS waits for county background checks to come back? Any info encouraging or otherwise is welcome. Thanks.

I see that no one has answered your question, and I don't know the answers.
I think the background checks are started at the same time, and your application will be "processing" until the last one comes back.
I have no idea who foreign residency is checked. My best guess is that they check with the U.S. Department of State. Foreign countries are supposed to notify the U.S. when a U.S. citizen is arrested.

Considering the background check's I would expect a longer than usual time.
