would you marry your gun?

Post by longhorn_92 »

I have a Springfield XD 4" 40 and an M&P 9mm that I like to shoot. But I borrowed my instructors weapon (Sig P239 w/ hogue grips) to shoot with ....and I fell in LOVE with it it. Now while I wait I - am in search of my new love....( If the 239 was a woman...I would marry her!). So I ask....

Nope! Not without a pre-nup.
Actually, I have a Sig P239 DAK in .40 S&W. She's good-looking, slim and smooth, feels good, strong and reliable. You can depend on her when the chips are down... and when she gets going she can really cook! What more could you want in a wife, I mean gun? :biggrinjester:

Nahhh... My beautiful Sig 1911 has been too capricious and unreliable lately. My H&K USP Compact is reliable, but ugly as a mud fence. I can't imagine our relationship being anything but strictly business. My Colt Government .380 is too mousy, and my S&W Model 29 is too much woman for me to do anything more than just flirt with her once in a while. (Shhhhh! Plus, don't tell her, but she's bigger than my Sig...)

I would consider a Glock, but I like a girl with some personality. :smilelol5:

Ouch...

Well, I'm not married to my girls, but they are always by my side, never let me down and eat anything I feed em. They ain't too pretty but clean up well. Most of all, they are always there when I need them and I trust them with my life. Guess maybe I should propose, but can't decide which one I like better.
I keep check'in out that pretty little thing named Kimber but hey, I'll take substance over looks any day.
