After nearly 6 months...

I finally see, "Application Completed - license issued or certificate active" on my tracking page! My initial class was completed January 19th, and my packet mailed the following week.

Like many others, I received a fingerprint rejection letter. It was back in April. I went and got finger printed again and mailed them back. The TXDPS received them on May 6th, and since then I've been torturing myself with regular views of the tracking page. But today, I finally saw the beautiful acceptance statement. Now I hope the postal service doesn't lose my license before I get it :waiting:

Congratulations on the "Application Completed - license issued or certificate active" :clapping:
...but I am sorry to hear about your long wait. I have been holding my breath for fear I will get one of those notices concerning fingerprints!! From what I read here that seem to happen quite often. Torture is right! :banghead: I just wonder how many hits that tracking sight gets in a day? wow! :headscratch

Good Luck!

Woo hoo!! I checked the mail today and I'm officially licensed! See you guys on the other side. I wish you luck in your waits, it's long but in the end it's worth it. :txflag:

Congrats!! i wonder how much time the fingerprint thing cost you. Of course the faster you got it back in the better, and I wonder if they have a special stack so when they get your prints the process doesn't lose much time.

Either way, water under the bridge!!

Ive seen it both ways. licence issued by return mail upon receipt of new prints an one that took a full extra 60 days in process.
