Mission Accomplished

After getting the plastic today, the wife unit had me take some donation items to the local Goodwill store. After dropping those off, I went across the street to Wally World. I figured I would see if they had any cleaning patches to buy. I parked way out in the parking lot. I hate driving around, looking for a closer spot. I'd rather hike in.
I entered with my trusty Glock 22 riding IWB at 4:00 in my CTAC Slide, under my shirt. I took the long way around the perimeter to Sporting Goods. As I passed the fishing rods, a blond teenager was examining a rod and lowered it across the aisle, blocking my way. I gave her a steely-eyed gaze, and she raised the rod in drawbridge fashion, clearing the way for me to pass.
Luck would have it that they had no cleaning patches. So I wandered over to the flashlight section, and selected a flashlight to purchase. I couldn't stay much longer, as I had to get back to take the family to dinner. McD,'s was way too crowded, but to make up for it, I chose the longest checkout line.
It took longer than I thought, but nobody freaked out or panicked. A young couple with a shopping cart was directly behind me, but it was no worries for me. The cashier was obviously a new troop, as her trainer was standing there with her. The guy ahead of me was quibbling over the price of a jug of juice. This ate up more time, but he finally went through. I stepped up, paid for my flashlight, and left.
All in all, no mishaps, no BGs, and nobody was the wiser.
