Post Approval Wait Time?

I am now on day 13 with no plastic AFTER being approved. Has anyone else had this problem. I have called several times and they tell me everything is ok and the plastic is on the way. Am I the only one or are other experiencing the same problem? I talked to a very nice lady today at DPS tod and she told me that there is nothing more they can do until it has been 30 days without getting the plastic until they can reissue a replacement. Is this common or am I having and incredibly bad run of luck here?

When I got my license last week to my suprise there were two, one for me and one for some guy in a town Ihad never heard of. I looked the fellows name up on the internet and fortunately for him he was listed. I called him up and asked him if he wanted me to send it back to DPS or straight to him. I'll let you figure out his choice. Anyway, This is only one of the numorous posibilities as to the whereabouts of your plastic. Expect even a little and you will prove to be dispointed.

Thanks bigdaddykain. I appreciate the reply but it does not make me feel any better. Unbelievable. Very nice of you to get the license to the guy. I'm sure he appreciated your kind gesture. This has been such a nightmare. Surely there has to be a better way of getting this done!!
