Is 37 days a record?

#1

Post by Morgan »

I usually check my status in the afternoon.... and today my status changed to Application Completed - license issued or certificate active.

37 days from their receipt of my application materials to today. I would guess I'll have my plastic in hand next week sometime, en? So I'll probably be just over 40 days total. I mentioned in the November thread that I feel a little guilty, knowing how screwed, blued and tattooed some of y'all have been.... Not that I'm not happy for myself, but day-umm.... some of you have been waiting 3, 4, 5 times longer....

Understandable. But they're not going to be mad at ME. And they deserve to know the truth.

Gotta be a record, and it gives me hope.

Congrats, your news... just gets me more frustrated with the folks in Austin.

LOL We'll probably get our plastic the same day...I'd bet they hit the mail at the same time. Good on ya! I'm doing my wally walk at super target. I detest wal mart.

Congrats! That is quick

I kinda hope mine doesnt come that quick, my holster wont be here yet, going to take 8-10 weeks.. It would drive me nuts if I had the plastic, but not the holster.. But I dont think you'd hear me complain..

Congrats Morgan; now you can legally carry on the VTX. I was all set to brag about mine coming in today after only 51 days. Guess you bet me there. Bad Guys beware there are now at least two VTX riders who are carrying. It will be kinda nice and comforting as well to have the gun on me instead of locked up in the trunk or saddlebags. So glad the wait is getting shorter for everyone.

Congrats Morgand and Sig. Glad to see things are moving along nicely. I bet mine would be completed also if it didn't go through that Application Incomplete part. I hope mine completes soon...

Pre-ike...that's like NFL records before the SuperBowl Era, isn't it? LOL Wow, you counted mail days too, most seem to count from the day that they know Austin got the stuff. Ah the good old days.
