Nearly a month just to get the application typed into the system, PIN issued.
Odd, got an email from them today (Saturday). Maybe they are working some OT to get caught-up, lol.

I emailed asking what the deal was, they replied with the picture comment and that a letter was mailed on the 28th. Got ahead of it by having my instructor re-shoot the pics yesterday, letter arrived today. Going to over-night the new pics tomorrow. We'll see how much it slows the process down.

Status back to "Processing Application" today.

Oddly enough, a friend of mine that took the class with me... got his plastic Friday.
He's not even a citizen, (no not from Mexico... Europe).
He got the dreaded "missing info" letter as I did, except they accepted his photo from the same printer mine was from, but needed a copy of his green card. He sent it registered mail, boom, he's got his plastic, I'm still waiting.

Nothing against my friend; a legal, productive, tax paying immigrant, but dang, you'd think it would take longer than some (clean record) guy born in Oklahoma!

It shouldn't be too much longer for ya. I had the same issue with pictures and once they started processing again I was done in 25 days. Hope that makes you feel better.

Well, called them today for an update ....
"Everything is complete, it's in the final process now". Please call again in a couple weeks."
Not sure what the final process is, but it sure sounds better than "waiting on background check", lol.

Update... still waiting, lol.
April 5 will be 60 days since their receipt of requested new pictures, April 20 will be the "complete" 120 days ... I keep thinking I'll see those magic words online. Down to checking ever couple of days or so

I'm trying hard not to be impatient, but dang! Pretty sure once the plastic actually arrives, it will be VERY anti-climactic after all this waiting
