I wasn't sure if I posted, but it took me exactly 101 days to get my license. Just figured I would pass that on to the fresh applicants and anyone that remembered me posting in that long thread a while back.

Were there any problems like bad prints or something causing a delay? If not, that's absurd!

Chas.

Well congrats on getting it, sucks it took so long to get there. Hopefully there was a reason.

Yes. The person working on my file up and quit in the middle of the whole deal. It took over a month to get reassigned to another technician and I (along with a few others) got the shaft.

If you are thinking of mailing off your CHL stuff heres my philosophy: mail it off and forget about it. It will come someday

I tried that for 3 days. 3 long days. Then I lost it and went on my rampage of information, twice daily chl status check, all day forum lurking and overall "turn to the dark side".

Yeah! I lasted about 24 hours and began the constant checking and whining in here. Chas figured I would be camped out by the mailbox before it was over....

Same here, maybe they'll have it working better in 5 years though!

Actually, I remember when mine was processing earlier this year and it stalled I called and got someone who discovered the person who had mine was "on an extended vacation." Once someone has an application assigned to them nothing happens if that person drops the ball on that application - and it happens constantly (not occasionally, constantly).

If your application stalls you need to call and check on it until something happens with it.

Or just do what I did and take a trip to Africa for a few weeks- when you come back it's only a matter of days until the card is in your mailbox!

Oh no, this is disheartening to hear, I am at 55 days and havnt seen or heard anything yet. But I dont want to hear any thing else bad with system. For the most, it has been under or at 60 days. I hope this dont happen to me.

Call them on day 60. Be nice, but call again and again and again until you are the squeaky wheel.

Today marks 60 days exactly since I turned in my pack for processing. I phoned on day 45 and got a someone to verbally give me a pin number. I have yet to even receive a letter in the post with my pin and its now been 60 days. My Fiancee was told that her pack was being retunred becuase the instructor failed to put her written score down. That was 20 days ago and still, nothing in the mail. This is shocking oh and frustrating!
