Just an FYI...
I have spoken with the DPS office because they told me that my plastic was mailed out yesterday however it still shows up as "Processing Application" online and they have told me it takes 24-48 hours to change on the website once the license is mailed out.

I had mine in my hand for about two weeks, and it still said "Processing Application". I was still checking to see how long it would last. Eventually I stopped looking, but it still said "Processing Application".

Once the plastic is in hand, does it matter what the CHL/DPS website says?
Re: Just an FYI...
Interesting question. Who's faster, the USPS or DPS? I'd like to say this is an easy one, but ...Oldgringo wrote:Once the plastic is in hand, does it matter what the CHL/DPS website says?
It would make things interesting if an officer asked for ID and your CHL did not show up as active in their computer.
