June Class

Took the class class on the 4th. Already had applied online and done fingerprints and photos. Mailed the packet today
Now it is a race between DPS and Crossbreed to see who can get to my doorstep first!
I am a little worried because my fingerprint receipt has my name mixed up middle name in the first name column first name in the last name column. Anyone think this will be a mess? Or am I making mountain from molehill?
May 13th online ap
May 18th fingerprints
June 4th Class
June 6th on it's way to Austin
A special thanks to my wife who is very understanding in watching one shotgun go to three more long guns and 2 pistols in the blink of an eye

That is the way it prints out. It will cause you no problem whatsoever. It looks like the people who submitted in April and May are getting great turn-around times.

They don't always print out that way, but about half the time they do. And, for no apparent reason.
The fingerprint tech should have verified your name on your driver's license, and fixed it in the L-1 system. So, nothing to worry about.

No not in Dallas actually up in the Panhandle area. Yellow to be exact...
I was actually really disappointed to read on the written test how the signage at the place one is employed doesn't have to be 30.06 compliant to be enforceable for employees.
Other than that class was great the instructor fits the bill right down to the handlebar mustache. I do have to admit that my dad out shot me using his Colt Lightweight Gov. 1911

Bummer on the employer thing, that stinks. Our instructor was pretty cool and the class wasn't so bad, at least we had fun. Still waiting on hubby's DD-214 so we can mail his stuff in. I'm gonna try to mail mine today or tomorrow, with my schedule, it's hard to get my pictures done.

Went out and got this for my first carry pistol. I plan to get a Glock 26 for full-time carry, but this will have to do until I graduate.
I got to show off the new plastic on Day 1!

Congrats on the gun and the plastic!
