Seems like forever, but my status finally updated today. Background check pending... . Whoo hoo!

I also sent on 20th, they received on 22nd, and today in the morning I got for the first time status update which is at background check now. Curious if further on we will match day for day.

For some reason my background check isn't complete yet. Its been like 6 hours since they started!! What's the hold up!?!?! Just kidding.

I wonder though, can your background be too clean? I'm in my 40s and have only once had a LEO contact and it was a verbal warning to repair a tail light on a trailer owned by my boss. There is nothing to see...hmm.

So I was only joking about the background check "taking so long" as it had been less than a day. Now, here I am the very next day and the background check is complete and manufacturing is pending!! I never expected that!

My application went through quick about as fast as
Yours, and I've been stuck at MP for about 6-7 days.

Got my first update to. Straight to manufacturing pending. I can't wait. Especially since I have to leave Texas and go to Massachusetts soon.

Decided to look at my status on a Sunday. Friutless, I know. I got a nice surprise though! CHL mailed!! Must have gone out on Fri but didn't update. So that's 7 days from delivery confirmation to CHL mailed! Never expected that!

It will not be long, bud! Congrats!

15 days door to door. Not bad! For some reason I thought there would be music, balloons falling from the ceiling, etc. But alas, none of that happened. I'm still smiling though. I would like to thank everyone on this board for all of the helpful information and kind words. This is a tremendous resource and we're lucky to have it!

Well, it is a little late, but congrats! Hope you went out and did a documented Wally Walk for us. Has any of the "new" worn off yet?
