Congratulations. I too received mine this week on 7/29. I actually mailed it in only two weeks prior, so my turn around time was faster than expected. I bought a new Gen 4 Glock 23 today with a Galco FBI cant holster and did the walk. I was aware, and a bit uncomfortable that I was printing more than expected, but I suppose that's par for the course for a new guy. I may experiment wtih a couple of other holsters.....for now, I gotta figure out how to keep the back of the slide from digging into my short rib while driving my truck.

.....incidentally, the DPS website still shows my CHL status as "manufacturing". This, two days after I actually received my plastic. I don't know that their system is updated quite as well as I'd hoped.

First off...congratulations! It is a day that you will always remember. The whole printing issue is just like you will read time and time again here on the forums. At first you think it looks so darn obvious...it seems like everyone should be able to read the name of the manufacturer right through your shirt. I promise, they can't, they don't know you have it on, they can't see anything. You will get a whole lot more comfortable.
