I've been poking around the site for a bit now, and I had some comments and questions. The State of Texas CHL status page seems to update every morning at around 6:00 am. Updates seem to occur only on Tuesdays through Saturdays. This leads me to believe that the site automatically updates every morning with the events of the previous day. That's why I haven't seen updates for Sundays and Mondays; no events to report for the previous day.
I'm sure all of you old boots on the site already knew this long ago, but I hadn't run across the information in my searching. Do all of you see the same thing? Or am I just trying to find sense where there is none to be found?

A watched pot, does indeed, begin to boil at the same moment a non-watched pot does. Not sure why I felt the need to point that other than it is one of those sayings that makes no sense. It is like saying you can't have your cake and eat it too. Sure you can. What you can not do is eat your cake and have it too. At least, you will not have it longer than it takes to make its presence announced in your sigmoid colon. Sorry about that.

I think your observations are, actually, pretty close to right on.

Yes, I didn't want to respond and sound snarky. My observations concerned the afternoon that I spent looking at the dates and quickly seeing that there was a pattern to the updates.
