Ugh...got to love Federal Holidays when time already feels like it's standing still. Still no updates on the DPS site. ARGH!

I hear ya on the holiday's. They just drive me nuts.

The only holiday's allowed for CHL processing should be weekends. I kid of course.

LOL As a former government employee I loved all the "extra" days off! Now, it's driving me nuts! But at least your application is further along than mine. I am hoping to show up on the site tomorrow...maybe Wednesday? They still don't show it recieved yet. Sigh!

The sad thing is that KNOWING they were closed today, I still checked the website several times today.

Then I'm really insane...I can't seem to stop checking it nights, weekends, holidays, doesn't matter. The wait and not knowing is just down right stressful!

Chuckle, chuckle...I remember when I was a CHL neophyte...just eight months ago!

I just about wore my keyboard out. I would check at all times of the day and night...sometimes even four or five times an hour.

Wish there was a magic pill which would make you forget about it until it shows up in the mailbox...but it will be there before you know it.

I think they have it rigged so every time you check the status on the website, it delays it....

Well, a time frame for you guys:

Received in their office 12-21-11
Mailed to me 1-18-12

That's with three holidays so I bet yours will be here a lot quicker!

Holy crap. Mine was received 12-6, and it's still in "Under Review."

Yep, still waiting also, received on 12-1, and still "Under Review". Man I wish I'd have known at 20 what I know now, perhaps my wait would've been a little shorter. Guess that's the price you pay for bad decisions years ago. I guess that's what my dad meant when he said, "If you're going to dance, you've got to pay the fiddler." But who knew the US Govt would be the fiddler!

I just want to see some sort of update. I'm with you Ruark...I think the more you check the longer it takes!
