How long before acknowledgement of receipt at DPS

I mailed my packet in last Wednesday, now a week later, still getting the waiting for the receipt of the other items message.

Relax, my packet was signed for on 8/3/12 at 7:56 AM and my status hasn't changed either. It doesn't appear there is a consistancy in processing.

Mine took 2.5 weeks, they received it 7.28 and just today it showed as received.

Use this time to find out what you want to carry and then how you want to carry. Carry concealed around your house to get used to it and make changes if necessarry.

I'm with yall...I submitted everything and mailed it 8/1/12. No update. A friend of mine said for her, mailbox to mailbox was 3 weeks. Another friend of mine was 2 months. Seems like a huge difference of a time frame.

I mailed my renewal stuff on Monday certified from Hondo (about 110 miles to Austin). It "should" have been there yesterday, but the tracking still shows "dispatched to sort facility".

<edit> It just made to Austin on Thursday (and not even the final destination). Geeze, I could have walked it there faster.

<edit2> Finally on FRIDAY it was delivered. 5 days to go 110 miles.
