How long?????

Post by calvinbr »

How long does it take the people to pick up the mail in Austin? I sent my information packet to Austin, on Feb 27th and it is still not picked up yet. I sent it certified mail return receipt. I looked it up today and no pickup. This is killing me that it is taking so long.

calvin, you need to go take a seat with chaz

Anyone have their plastic lost in the mail? According the tech at DPS, mine was mailed last Thurday, March 1. I'm in Austin so it should be here by now. Just wondering if anyone ever had this happen and what's the procedure. I can see this turning my 85 days into who knows how long. AAAAGGGHHHH

I got the e-mail Monday morning that it would mailed THAT day...

As quoted by the DPS e-mail... "Checked on your application. Your license will go out in the mail today. Allow 7-10 days to receive".

Granted it is only Wednesday, but most of the mail from Austin to San Antonio is a day. Any other San Antonians with experience with this? I hate this worse than "Processing"...now it's REALLY purgatory!!!

I hear ya Bill! Rceived my licebse yesterday postmarked March 1st. Mailed last Thursday, goes a few miles and arrives on Tuesday. Don't know about you guiys but that's not too efficient. Wouldn't work with my employer.

The world is just not very efficient for all the technology available, but that's another topic.
