Still waiting on mine to finish up. I think I see a pattern . All of those with b.g. under review on 1/27 are finishing up. Curious if anyone whose status changed to "background under review" on 2/1 have been completed.

I have been under review since the 24th. Still under review.

Background went into review 2/1 and I'm still there this morning. Paperwork received in system 1/28.

Background under review 2-6. Still waiting...

I've been under review for almost 3 weeks. Been 40 days since I mailed it off. :(

Started BG review on 1/25, end on 2/13.

27 Dec 2012: Online app
29 Dec 2012: Completed CHL Course
02 Jan 2013: Fingerprints Taken
02 Jan 2013: Mailed packet
04 Jan 2013: Packet delivered to DPS
25 Jan 2013: First indication on DPS website that they received packet
25 Jan 2013: Background Under Review
13 Feb 2013: Background completed
13 Feb 2013: Manufacturing pending

So, just over 2 weeks for the background check to take place.

I know, this wait is killing me! Background under review since 2/1! Im hoping its done by tomorrow!

My wife's timeline:

1/12 - class
1/14 - prints
1/16 - mailed packet
2/1 - BG under review (15 days)
2/13-mfg. (13 days, 28 days & counting)

Well shucks! I was okay as long as no one before 2/1 b.g. was approved. Now i'm just worried about my past a little. Oh well. I'm sure if they meed any documents they will ask me. Thanks for updating me with your wife's info. Have fun doing the wally walk with her .

12/29 - mfg (14 days, 41 tot.)
1/3 - mailed (5 days, 46 tot.)
1/10 plastic (7 days, 53 tot.)

It recently took 5 weeks from packet submission until I got my card. My status as being complete and mailed was on the computer about a week before I actually got the card in the mail.

You have put this young fella at ease sir. I'm ready for mine. I have so much ammo idk what to do with it. Its the only thing I can bring myself to buy before I get my chl. Then I can get a new bang stick.
