Anyone have any June submissions?

Yep. Mailed 6/12 and DPS signed for it 6/14. Online status still says "Concealed Handgun Licensing is waiting on the receipt of required materials."

I completed my application online, and mailed off the additional papers via certified mail on June 4. The return receipt shows that they received it in Austin on the 6th. Mine says "Concealed Handgun Licensing is waiting on the receipt of required materials" also.

**UPDATE: Just checked online and I'm @ Background check: under review

06/03 class completed
06/04 fingerprints done and submitted
06/05 mailed packet
06/07 DPS received packet
06/22 under background check.

moving along at a pretty good pace seeing as some people have waited as long as 30 or more days just to get to background checks.

can someone tell me why at the top of the list it says application received but it is still yellow with one of these !
everything else is green up till background check.

It was that way with mine to. That one never changed for me even after mailed.

background done in one day, at manufacturing pending.

BG check is the on that takes the longes but looks like June is moving fast!!! Mine completed in 12 days.

The top bar "Aplication Recieved "will stay yellow through out the whole process. No worries.

Took the class 6/1 and all materials got sent in on 6/2. Still "waiting on receipt of required materials."

in manufacturing today should be mailed and in my pocket by the end of the week.

Don't get your hopes up......
Usually takes 10 days or more just for the mail and just because it says mailed, several of those days are just sitting in the mail room!

New to the forum. I sent my packet into DPS 05/28/2013. The online status has now changed to everything is in the green except for a few yellow boxes.... IE: Application : Received, Fingerprints : Under review, Background Check : Under review and Concealed Handgun License : Print pending completion of application review. Being the rookie that I am here where is my standing in the process??? When can I expect my plastic? Any help would be appreciated!!!!

IT'S IN THE MAIL!!!!
and even if i have to wait 10 days on mail i will still be at only 30 days box to box. It would seem that after looking at previous time lines that the state is getting better on wait times.
Looking forward to my Wally Walk soon.
