It's my own fault that i'm waiting now---took the class in December my dad, he sent it off the day after class and has done the Wally Walk--i waited a month..procrstination--then my app got sent back for missing 3 months of my residense information---got my pin finally..

I'm in the processing phase now---

Called today and they started my 60 days overon April 18, the friendly lady told me they are waiting on my background to come back.

My question is, how in depth is this? I have nothing on my record, not even a speeding ticket--do they send it to the county and get it done there? What woudl be the hang up?

My understanding is that there are background checks run with the sheriff of every county you've lived or worked in on your list, as well as with the FBI.
