Wait time with a "Record"?

So, it's been about 45 days since my application was submitted and still no status change so I called the RSD office today and after a 45 minute hold was able to speak to a representative. He informed me that since I had something on my record, which I DID disclose and sent certified court disposition (Underage DWI, 9 years ago in Nashville) that the process will take AT LEAST 2 months and potentially even longer for my application to clear.
Question for anyone who has had a "history"... was this your experience? Did it really take 2 months for your background checks to clear and have your license issued??

I am surprised that there are not more members who have dealt with the same and willing to chime in on this. Either way, the wait is killing me.

I personally have more sympathy for someone (like my son) who completed his training right before his 21st birthday, submitted his application as soon as he turned 21, and then was waiting anxiously "forever".
For people who already waited for years to submit the application at age 25, or 29, or 35, or 49, and then get impatient about waiting, I ask them why they didn't apply sooner if they were in so much of a hurry.

Mine took a little longer but I had a 'record'. Wrote a bad check when I was young(er) and stupid(er).
If it isn't a DQ thing, don't sweat it.

I had an issue 30 years ago when I did something dumb and stupid. Ended up with "Deferred Adjuciation" and probation. I submitted the Disposition documents with my other paperwork and had my plastic in hand in less than 30 days.

so when I got a letter from RDS on March 31st asking for more info regarding an arrest I had back in '89 and since I emailed the info they requested on April 2nd, I probably should be patient and wait another 30 days or so?
I sent them a email asking if the info I sent was ok and if my app is now considered complete, but they never responded to my email... I sent it 4 days ago.
