Online application done two weeks ago.
Fingerprints done yesterday.
CHL-100 (training document) mailed in today. I hope spreading things out is not unusual.

Did my class, app, fingerprints and uploaded my chl100 via the contact us page all on 4/23

I never got a confirmation email. Should I have received a confirmation email?

I called today (and got an answer on the first ring!). The first question he asked me after I told him I submitted my CHL100 online was "did you get a confirmation email?". After further investigation, we found that I uploaded the form in .jpg format which they do not accept. They only accept pdf files (just like the instructions I didn't read say). He had me re-upload them in pdf format and I got my confirmation email within about 5 minutes. So now... the waiting begins again.

Moral of the story:
1. The website will let you upload an incorrect file type and will not tell you that it is not accepted.
2. If you don't get a confirmation email shortly after uploading your documents, something's wrong.
3. Read the instructions, all of them.

The pdf requirement must be fairly new. My wife and I both sent in JPEGs of our documents about a month ago. It clearly was an option at the time(I checked because my scanner gave up the ghost a while back). Hopefully it doesn't take you or us much longer.

Welcome to the forum. The clock doesn't start ticking until DPS receives all documentation so you're only a week and a half in. Shouldn't be that long of a wait. Things seem to move along faster these days than they did 6 or 7 years ago.
