Status page - what should I see?

I submitted my paperwork around January 11th. I'm sure I have a few more weeks to go, but just to be sure - what should I see on the DPS website as far as a status? When I log in it doesn't show any kind of status - it only gives me the option to "Apply for Instructor Certification". I did my fingerprinting about a month before I submitted my application so I'm a little concerned that doing it out of order and so early messed something up. I just don't want to find out in a month that I have to start everything over.

Status seems pretty normal for those of us "in waiting". Most importantly, did you ever receive a confirmation email to indicate that all your docs were received? Should have come within a few days of your last docs being uploaded. If you never received it then likely there is an issue. If so, plan on about 60 days from that email.

Thanks. I did receive the email. So, I'm hoping I'm half way home by now. We will see...

keep looking every couple of days. Eventually, to the right of where it says

"Apply for Instructor Certification (to teach LTC courses)"

will appear a new block containing;

Change Information
- Change residential address
- Change mailing address
- Change contact information
- Report lost license
- Report stolen license

at which point you have been approved and are in the "printing & mailing" stage.

Usually when the site changes, the card will arrive in about 3 days.

I had my renewal card in hand before the status ever changed. The website seems a little hit or miss on the status changes.
