DPS Website Down for Maintenance

Okay so I am waiting for my LTC to be approved and as most people who are at this stage I visit the DPS website regularly to check on the status. It seems that the DPS website is down for maintenance on a regular basis, is this normal or are they having some uncommon issues?

I noticed the same thing this weekend!
What I found was that once I got the dreaded "Down for maintenance" page, it kept coming up!
My problem was I kept refreshing the same page. The down for maintenance page..lol.
What cleared things up was doing a search and visiting the actual login page again. Today, things are running smooth again.
In answer to your question, I don't know if it's a normal thing. I've been checking since the 1st of December and have never seen it down before this weekend.
