08/08/07 Application Packet Mailed
08/27/07 Pin number received (19 days)
09/12/07 Application Completed - license issued or certificate active (16 days)
09/14/07 Plastic arrives in mail (2 days)

Total time from packet sent, to license in hand: 37 days

Not too shabby! :smile:

Ha! The grass needs mowing today! It's just so stinking hot out there! I better go play golf instead... ;-)

If you haven't already...

Now's the time to get a good holster/belt, spend time at the range, and start carryin' around the house to get used to it.

It'll help pass the time, and you'll be more prepared once the plastic arrives.

Actually, I haven't purchased my carry gun yet. I own a hammerless .38, but it is only a five shot job. I doubt I'll use this for carry. When I finally decide on something, I will look for holster & stuff to match.

The Kahr 9mm looks good to me now.

Did you qualify with that .38? If you shot a revolver during your class you won't be able to carry an autoloader.

Yes, I know. I borrowed an XD to qualify for the shooting test.
